Jessica Pegula’s husband, Taylor Gahagen, recently made a rare appearance at the tennis player’s colleague Madison Keys’ wedding. Pegula celebrated the “happy couple” and shared a few highlights of her day.

Madison Keys married her longtime partner, Bjorn Fratangelo, on Saturday, November 23. Fratangelo is an inactive tennis player with a career-best ranking of World No. 99, who won the 2011 French Open boys’ singles title.

Keys and Fratangelo started dating in 2017, and the latter proposed to the 2017 US Open finalist in March 2023, after six years together. In June that year, he also assumed the role of Madison Keys’ coach.

The couple got married in South Carolina over the weekend, and the festivities were attended by several WTA stars, including Jessica Pegula, Sloane Stephens, Taylor Townsend, Desirae Krawczyk, Jennifer Brady, and Laura Robson.

Pegula’s husband, Taylor Gahagen, accompanied her as her plus one during a rare public appearance. The World No. 7 shared highlights from their weekend getaway on social media.

"Celebrating the happy couple, Congrats Madi & Bjorn," she wrote.

Jessica Pegula married longtime partner Taylor Gahagen in 2021, after six years together.

Gahagen and Pegula connected when he worked for her parents' (Terry and Kim Pegula) sports and entertainment management company. More recently, he has been serving as the vice president of Pegula’s skincare company, Ready 24. He is also involved in their pet-centric foundation, A Lending Paw.

While Gahagen keeps a low profile, he was captured at a few of Jessica Pegula’s matches this season. The American’s noteworthy 2024 campaign included her clinching two titles—the WTA 500 in Berlin and the WTA 1000 in Toronto. She also made her Grand Slam breakthrough, reaching her maiden final at the US Open.

During her run in New York, Pegula was cheered on by her family, including billionaire father Terry. During her interview, though, she hilariously forgot to mention her husband and later joked that he didn’t want to be seen.

"I have my brother there, my sister there on the screen with my dad and my brother-in-law, lots of friends, lots of family all scattered around. Obviously, my husband, sorry I forgot about him. He is not even standing. He doesn't want to be seen," she quipped after reaching the final.

Jessica Pegula will look to replicate her success in 2025, starting with the Brisbane International.
