After securing a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lorenzo Musetti, accompanied by his girlfriend Veronica Confalonieri and their son Ludovico, unwinded at a beach. This was Musetti's second appearance at the Games.

Musetti was seeded 11th at the Olympic Games and commenced his campaign with straight-sets wins over Gael Monfils (6-1, 6-4) and Mariano Navone (7-6(2), 6-3) in the first and second rounds, respectively.

The Italian then triumphed over seventh seed Taylor Fritz in the third round with a score of 6-4, 7-5, and overcame defending gold medalist and third seed Alexander Zverev 7-5, 7-5 in the quarterfinals.

Lorenzo Musetti's winning streak came to an end in the semifinals when he fell to top seed and eventual gold medalist Novak Djokovic with a score of 6-4, 6-2.

However, the World No. 16 redeemed himself when he defeated 13th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in two hours and 17 minutes at Court Philippe Chatrier to win the bronze medal, his first Olympic medal. With this win, he also became the first Italian tennis player to win an Olympic medal since Uberto de Morpugo did it back at the 1924 Olympics which was also held in Paris.

Following his bronze medal win, Lorenzo Musetti took some well-deserved time off to relax with his family. Musetti, along with his girlfriend Veronica Confalonieri and their son Ludovico, enjoyed some time at a serene beach and basked in "happiness." He also took to social media to share a series of pictures, providing a glimpse at how they spent their time.

Following his victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime and securing the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lorenzo Musetti revealed that while preparing for the Olympics he stuck to a simple diet of plain pasta and chicken. He also mentioned his plans to treat himself to a pizza to celebrate his medal win

“I’ve been eating plain pasta and chicken for three months, basically, so I think eating a pizza is the least I can do tonight!” Musetti said [via ATPTour.com].

Before his bronze medal run at the Paris Olympics, Musetti had a series of good performances in other tournaments. He made it to the semifinals of the 2024 BOSS Open, where he fell to compatriot Matteo Berrettini 4-6, 0-6.

The Italian also reached the finals of the 2024 Cinch Championships at Queens Club, narrowly missing out on the title to Tommy Paul in a close match that ended 1-6, 6-7 (8).

In the lead-up to the Olympics, Musetti continued his streak of success with a semifinal appearance at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, where he faced off against Novak Djokovic in the semifinals and was defeated 4-6, 6-7(2), 4-6.

The 22-year-old then advanced to the final of the Croatia Open, where he put up a strong fight but ultimately fell short against Francisco Cerúndolo 6-2, 4-6, 6-7(5).
