In Pictures: Naomi Osaka glows in luxurious Louis Vuitton outfits as the cover star for Harper's Bazaar Australia
Naomi Osaka recently featured on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia's upcoming January edition. Osaka was pictured donning various Louis Vuitton outfits. The Japanese was announced as the brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton in January 2020.
The athlete is enjoying her off-season ahead of the upcoming Australian Open, scheduled to begin on January 12. Amid this, she captured attention with her stunning Louis Vuitton outfits she wore while featuring on Harper's Bazaar Australia cover.
On Monday, December 16, Harper's Bazaar Australia shared several photos of the two-time Australian Open winner on their Instagram handle. In the first slide, Osaka was seen wearing a cream-colored printed short dress, which was then followed by her posing in a stylish black-and-white-patterned dress.
The post was captioned:
"Tennis is a game of millimetres, where the smallest margins can mark the difference between winning and losing — this is the unforgiving life of a professional tennis player. But within those black-and-white confines, BAZAAR Australia’s January cover star #NaomiOsaka has found a new freedom; breaking free from expectations, escaping stereotypes, and claiming immunity from stress and pressure."
Quoting Naomi Osaka from her Harper Bazaar interview, they added:
“Freedom looks different for so many,” the former world No.1 tennis player tells Bazaar Australia. “Freedom is no longer caring what others think.”
On the court, Osaka's campaign was cut short following a back injury she sustained at the China Open. Facing Coco Gauff in the fourth round of the China Open, Naomi Osaka had to retire midway due to a back injury. The Japanese also faced early exits in all of the Majors she participated in, possessing a modest 22-18 record for the year.
