In Pictures: Paula Badosa poses with father Josep and sister Jana; trio spend quality time together in Dubai during offseason
Paula Badosa spent quality time with her father, Josep, and sister, Jana, in Dubai during the offseason. She enjoyed a European getaway earlier with her boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas, as the couple explored several countries together.
After concluding their 2024 tennis season, Badosa and Tsitsipas visited the Aston Martin headquarters in Gaydon, UK, enjoying snowy adventures before embarking on a romantic getaway to Iceland. The couple later traveled to the Swiss Alps for more scenic experiences before Badosa returned to Dubai to reunite with her family.
The Spaniard posted about reuniting with her 'cutie' sister Jana yesterday and has taken to her Instagram story to share images posing with her and their father Josep.
The 27-year-old is very close with her father and sister. She has previously expressed her love for them.

Paula Badosa shares a close bond with her younger sister Jana, who is more than a decade her junior. In an interview with the WTA, the tennis star said she feels like a second mother to Jana and supports her financially.
"My younger sister, she’s 15 years old. Her name is Jana. We have a 10-year difference. I’m her older sister but as I say, at the same time, I always felt like I had to like, be her second mom. I protect her so much, especially the role I’m playing with her right now, financially, I’m helping her. Her dream was always to come here to the US, to study, to learn English," she said.
Further, Badosa expressed immense pride in her younger sister Jana, highlighting how quickly she is maturing. She emphasized how deeply she values Jana, considering her the "most important person" in her life.
"I had my opportunity to make my dream come true, so I just want that for her," Paula Badosa concluded.
At the China Open this year, Badosa defeated Jessica Pegula to advance into the quarterfinals. In a post-match interview, she revealed that her father Josep was in the stands for the first time.
"Last thing I want to say, um, it never happened but it’s the first time when my father is here and I want to dedicate this because he never comes on tournaments. He’s out there so, I wouldn’t be here without him so he’s very special and I owe him so much."
Following a hiatus in the 2023 season due to a chronic back injury, Badosa returned to the tour this year. She was out of the Top 100 in June but rallied remarkably into the Top 15 by the end of the season. She earned a title — her first in two years — in Washington DC.
The Spaniard finished the season with a 37-18 record ranked World No. 12. She will next be seen on court during the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi next week. The 27-year-old is also expected to play for Spain at the United Cup later in December.
