In Pictures: Serena Williams unboxes adorable gifts for "tiny" daughter Adira sent by Nike, fawns over presents from Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez

Serena Williams recently showed off some delightful items she received in the mail, which included an adorable selection of gifts for her baby daughter Adira. The American also flaunted the presents she received from Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez.

Williams has been open about sharing snippets of her life on social media, from chronicling her experience at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughters to offering a peek into her intense jogging sessions and sharing empowering messages for her supporters.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion recently took to Instagram and showcased the various gifts that had arrived at her doorstep. Opening her first package, the American gushed over Mellody Hobson's book 'Priceless Facts About Money,' encouraging her followers to check it out for its insightful take on financial literacy.

"I just got this really cool book in the mail. Today is 'Mail Monday.' I'm so excited to get this. Mellody Hobson, who is amazing. This is about financial literacy," the American said. "This is a really good read. I encourage you all to go pick it up."

Serena Williams then excitedly showed off the Investor of the Year Award bestowed upon her by Essense Black Women in Business.

"Alright I am so excited to get this. This is Essence Black Women in Business Investor of the Year Award. That is so exciting. Thank you Essence. This is so important to have and to continue to tell our stories," Williams said.

The former World No. 1's baby daughter Adira received some goodies of her own, as Nike sent a care package filled with adorable clothes for the toddler. The 43-year-old raved about the "cute" outfits but conceded that the one-year-old would need to grow into them because she was still "so tiny."

Spotting a Michael Jordan jersey, Williams also admitted that she still had to educate her daughters about the NBA legend.

"Wait a minute. What is this? This looks like something fun. This is so cute. Oh my gosh! Adira is going to go nuts when she sees these new outfits. She’s so tiny, they won’t fit her but it’s still cute. She’ll grow into it. She’ll grow into all this stuff. I gotta teach them babies about Michael Jordan," she said.

Serena Williams wasn't finished, as she showed off a stylish speaker from her close friend Kim Kardashian's collaboration with Beats.

"Beats by Kim. I love my Mail Mondays. So cool. You know I’m going to be bumping to this," Serena Williams said.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion also expressed her gratitude for the journaling kit designed to help with mental health struggles she received from Wondermind, the company co-founded by Selena Gomez, in which she herself is an investor.

"Speaking of Black women in business, I invested in a company called Wondermind. Wondermind is also co-founded by Selena Gomez and you know how much she believes in mental health as well as I do," she added.

Alongside her Investor of the Year Award from Essence, Serena Williams was recently honored as the 'Woman of the Year' by Glamour Magazine. While debunking tennis myths for the magazine, the 23-time Grand Slam champion disclosed that at one point, she had had to make a choice between tennis and family, ultimately deciding to embrace motherhood.

Despite launching her makeup brand 'Wyn Beauty' and investing in various business ventures since her retirement, Williams emphasized that none of her achievements compared to the simple joys of spending time with her daughters Olympia and Adira.

"That's a good one. I think at some point you do have to choose if you want to have kids, but for me, I decided to choose being a mom," she said.
"I never thought I would say that. But just hanging out with my girls and spending time with them and just showing up every day is an achievement, and it's not easy. I can't think of anything else that I achieved that's better or greater than that," she added.

Serena Williams recently reaffirmed this sentiment by endorsing an empowering message about the importance of motherhood.
