"When in Miami" - Sloane Stephens celebrates her 30th birthday in style
Sloane Stephens, who is due to turn 30 on Monday, March 20 is having an early birthday celebration in Miami, Florida.
The 2017 US Open Champion was in Miami with her friends to celebrate her birthday at a famous Asian food joint named 'Sexy Fish,' and also attended a stand-up comedy show called 'Straight Jokes No Chaser Comedy show'.
Stephens posted photos of her night out showcasing her stylish green outfit, which she paired with a denim jacket, along with images of a beautiful beach and the restaurant she had visited. She also shared Instagram stories of stand-up comics Mike Epps and Cedric the Entertainer.
"Birthday starts now," Stephens captioned one of her stories.
Stephens also posted a photo of herself to Instagram of her outfit, inciting endearing responses from American tennis player Alycia Parks and Canada's Eugenie Bouchard.
"Omg yes," Bouchard wrote.
Parks, on the other hand, responded with a series of hearts-for-eyes emojis.

Stephens last played at the Indian Wells Open, where she was defeated by fellow American Sofia Kenin in the first round with a score of 6-4, 6-1.

Sloane Stephens turned pro in 2009. In her career so far, the American has won seven WTA titles, including one Grand Slam.
Stephens rose to prominence in 2013 after reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open, where she beat Serena Williams on her way.
In January 2016, Stephens won the Auckland Open as she took down German Julia Gorges in the final with a score of 7-5, 6-2. In February, Stephens won the Mexican Open by taking down Dominika Cibulkova 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(5) in the summit clash. In April of the same year, the American won the Charleston Open as she outclassed Russia's Elena Vesnina 7-6(4), 6-2.
Prior to 2017, Stephens was struggling with a foot injury. However, she decided to compete at the US Open and ended up winning her first Major by defeating compatriot and best friend Madison Keys in the final 6-3, 6-0. Following her run, she was awarded WTA Comeback Player of the Year.
In 2018, Stephens won the Miami Open, where she took down Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko 7-6(5), 6-1 in the title round.
The 29-year-old's most recent title came in February of last year at the Abierto Akron Zapopan, a WTA 250 tournament, where she defeated Czech Marie Bouzková in three sets 7-5, 1-6, 6-2.
