In Pictures: Sloane Stephens turns heads at Mexican Grand Prix in stylish casual look; takes her place in RB garage
Sloane Stephens recently attended the Mexico City Grand Prix and took her place in the garage of the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team, popularly called RB or VCARB. Stephens sported a casual yet stylish look at the event.
On the tennis front, it has been an up-and-down season so far for Stephens. While the former World No. 3 did win the Open de Rouen earlier this year, marking her seventh WTA Tour-level title triumph, most of her other campaigns have ended in disappointment.
At Grand Slams, Stephens' best finish came at the Australian Open, where she reached the third round. Her second-best finish at the Majors this season came at the Wimbledon Championships, where she reached the second round. However, at both the French Open and the US Open, the events where she has historically enjoyed her best results, she failed to make it past the first hurdle.
Despite her on-court disappointments, Sloane Stephens continues to enjoy life off the court. The 2017 US Open champion recently made her way to Mexico for the Mexico City Grand Prix. Sporting a chic cap, a baggy, multi-colored jacket, and loose off-white pants, Stephens enjoyed proceedings as Carlos Sainz of Ferrari won the race.
Stephens was backing the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team. The official Instagram handle of the team shared an image of her smiling, as she followed the race from the team's garage. The former World No. 3 later shared the picture via an Instagram Story. She also showed off her casual fashion sensibilities in a separate picture.
Stephens' last tennis outing came at the Korea Open, where she participated in both singles and doubles.

At the 2024 Korea Open, Stephens faced compatriot Hailey Baptiste in the first round. While the pair contested a tight first set, which went the latter's way [7-6(4)], it was 22-year-old Baptiste who dominated the second set, winning it 6-2 to oust the 2017 US Open champion from the WTA 500 event.
Stephens also featured in doubles at the tournament, partnering Jang Su-jeong. The duo made it through the first round, emerging triumphant over Yulia Putintseva and Ajla Tomljanovic. However, their run was cut short in the next round by Miyu Kato and Zhang Shuai.
Stephens is currently ranked World No. 79 in singles. In doubles, the Florida native is the current World No. 63.
