In Pictures: Venus Williams goes 'extra', turns heads in yellow dress during Lacoste's Spring-Summer Show at Paris Fashion Week

Venus Williams recently shared glimpses of her time at Lacoste's Spring-Summer Show, part of the Paris Fashion Week. The seven-time Major champion looked elegant in a vibrant yellow knitted dress, exuding confidence.

Williams is one of the most decorated tennis players of all time. The American has won seven singles and 16 doubles Grand Slam titles, along with four Olympic gold medals.

Besides her prowess in the sport, the 44-year-old has also impressed with her fashion sense, attending several prominent events. In January, Williams attended Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2024 menswear show at the Paris Fashion Week and also graced the cover of Perfect Magazine’s Issue 07 in August.

At Lacoste’s Spring-Summer 2025 show on Tuesday, Williams donned an elegant yellow dress featuring a halter-style neckline. She completed her attire with a gold necklace.

Williams later shared the highlights from the event on her Instagram stories. She added a video from her photoshoot, in which she is grooving to music. Tagging Lacoste, she captioned the story,

"Just being extra...again. The dress just gave me vibes!"

The American shared another picture, in which she is sitting in a car, wearing the same dress. She captioned this one,

"Paris, my happy place, but then the traffic starts, and I remember how beautiful and slow Jupiter is..."

Like Venus, sister Serena too has established herself as a style icon. From wearing an elegant gown at the 2014 New York Fashion Show to donning a stunning Versace dress paired with Nike tennis sneakers at the 2019 Met Gala, Serena has created numerous iconic fashion moments.

Serena Williams recently graced the cover of Glamour Magazine, prompting Venus to celebrate her achievement. Taking to her Instagram stories, the 44-year-old shared a photo of Serena's cover and expressed her admiration, writing,

"So proud of you!"

Venus and Serena have established themselves as one of the most dominant sister duo ever. The elder sister turned professional in 1994, with Serena following suit in 1995.

Together, they won 14 doubles Grand Slam titles. Serena also showcased her dominance in singles, winning 23 Major titles—the most by any female player. Serena led the head-to-head 19-12 against Venus before she retired from the sport.

While Serena retired in 2022, Venus has yet to hang her tennis racket up. The seven-time Major champion played her most recent match at the Miami Open earlier this year, where she faced a first-round exit.
