"It made my week" - Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian discloses daughter Olympia's adorable remark as he crafts Smurfette pancake for her
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian revealed that his daughter Olympia said he reminded her of Brawny Smurf. This gave the Reddit co-founder an idea for his latest pancake creation.
Ohanian took to his social media to share his latest impressive pancake creation. Donning his 'Papa Pancakes' apron, the 41-year-old crafted a Smurfette pancake for his seven-year-old daughter Olympia. He also made another pancake with Olympia's name.
Ohanian shared images of the pancakes and a video of him cooking them with the caption:
"🥞 @olympiaohanian said I reminded her of Brawny Smurf today and it made my week. #PapaPancakes"
Last week, when Ohanian donned the 'Papa Pancakes' apron, he crafted a pancake in the shape of an ice cream. At the time, Olympia had the "audacity" to ask for ice cream for breakfast and her father was having none of it.
Uploading a post about it on X (formerly Twitter), Ohanian wrote:
"I messed up the waffle cone but this is what @olympiaohanian got when she had the audacity to ask for ice cream for breakfast. #PapaPancakes," the caption read.
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian explained the importance of voting to his seven-year-old daughter Olympia
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shared on Instagram that he voted early ahead of the Presidential Elections on November 5. Through an Instagram Story, he informed his followers and said:
“Alright, go vote, feels good.”
He uploaded the Story as a Reel later and added in the caption that he explained to his seven-year-old daughter Olympia the importance of voting. He wrote:
"Olympia's big question last night was about voting and I explained what a miraculous (YOUNG) experiment our republic is in the timeline of humanity (and we didn't get it perfect from the start but we are always working to improve it - like fighting to make sure girls -- especially Black girls like her -- could vote) and how RARE a society with prolonged free and fair elections AND peaceful transitions of power is. Do not take these for granted."
Several tennis personalities have been heavily involved in politics ahead of the elections. Former American players Andy Roddick and Martina Navratilova have condemned the Republican candidate Donald Trump multiple times on social media.
American tennis icon Billie Jean King has publicly endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. The 80-year-old is also co-chairing the "Athletes for Harris" campaign.
However, Serena Williams has historically refused to involve herself in politics as she had said that she does not vote owing to being a Jehovah's Witness.
