Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya: US Open 2024 champ and his girlfriend's best moments in New York
US Open champion Jannik Sinner’s successful campaign in New York was made even sweeter by the presence of his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya. The tennis couple, otherwise private about their relationship, shared some endearing moments during the fortnight.
Sinner clinched his maiden US Open title and second Major overall, after his 2024 Australian Open triumph. Following victories over Mackenzie McDonald, Alex Michelsen, Christopher O’Connell, Tommy Paul, Daniil Medvedev, and Jack Draper, the World No. 1 beat American No. 1 Taylor Fritz 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in the final on Sunday, September 8.
It's worth noting that Jannik Sinner entered the tournament as the Cincinnati Open champion. His pre-tournament preparations were, however, disrupted by controversy regarding his two positive doping tests from March, for which he was declared innocent by an independent tribunal. In his US Open press conference, Sinner emphasized the importance of being surrounded by his loved ones in light of the severe online backlash.
Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya, who also competed at the US Open, made for a supportive presence during the trying times. On that note, here's a look at the couple’s adorable moments in New York:
