Jannik Sinner's girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya reportedly unfollowing him comes to light days after controversy over his remarks about their relationship
Jannik Sinner's girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya has reportedly unfollowed him on Instagram. The Italian had previously made some remarks on having a girlfriend, which created some controversy.
Sinner and Kalinskaya became a couple earlier this year and were often spotted cheering for one another during matches. Notably, the Russian was in the Italian's box when he won the US Open in September.
In a recent interview with Esquire UK, the World No. 1 was asked what Kalinskaya added to his life. Sinner responded by saying that nothing in his life changed, while also adding that having a girlfriend was something that could make one feel either good or bad.
"I don't think anything has changed. Having a girlfriend is something that either makes you feel good or makes you feel bad. I want it to be something that feels very natural, which comes into my life normally. I can't afford to change as a player or as a person. That hasn't happened, that's why it works," Sinner said.
Sinner's comments saw him receive some backlash from fans.
As of now, Anna Kalinskaya has reportedly unfollowed the 23-year-old on Instagram.
