Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz: Where to watch, TV schedule, live streaming details and more | Six Kings Slam 2024
Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz came through contrasting wins over their respective opponents to set up a finals showdown at the Six Kings Slam. Both men have now won a couple of matches at the exhibition event.
Sinner booked his spot in the summit clash after posting big wins over Daniil Medvedev and Novak Djokovic, the latter of which he sealed in a tight three-setter. The Italian thwarted his opponent’s spirited comeback to lock in the deal 6-2, 6-7(0), 6-4.
The win will hold extra significance for Sinner given that it was his fourth in a row over Djokovic.
The World No. 1 finds himself in the middle of an extraordinary season, one that has seen him not only win two Grand Slams (the Australian Open and the US Open) but also attain the World No. 1 ranking.
Alcaraz, on the other hand, did not have to break much sweat against another tennis legend in the form of Rafael Nadal. He came through in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 without much real trouble.
Much like Sinner, the Spaniard has also won two Grand Slam titles this year (Wimbledon and French Open) and enjoyed a widely successful season. He, in fact, also clinched the silver medal at the Paris Olympics.
The Six Kings Slam final will mark the 11th encounter in the burgeoning rivalry, wherein Alcaraz has a slight 6-4 advantage. The Spaniard has taken the duo’s last three meetings, all of which have come over the course of this season itself.
The latest meeting between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, which came at the China Open final went down to wire, with the latter winning 6-7(6), 6-4, 7-6(3).
