Japan Open 2024 Schedule: TV schedule, start time, order of play, live stream details & more | Day 1

Tennis action will move to the Japanese capital for the Japan Open, which commences with main draw action on Wednesday (25 September). Big names feature in the draw for the ATP 500 event, with US Open finalist Taylor Fritz leading the charge as the top seed.

Day 1 action will have the likes of Matteo Berrettini and Hubert Hurkacz in action. While the former opens his campaign against Botic van de Zandschulp. Van de Zandschulp, who is also the second seed, will lock horns with Marcos Giron.

Before those matches, however, Mariano Navone and Luciano Darderi will open play on the central showcourt, the Coliseum.

The home hope Shintaro Mochizuki will also be in action in the night session, taking on Frenchman Ugo Humbert in another exciting encounter. The likes of Kei Nishikori, Ben Shelton and Jack Draper, meanwhile, will hit the court for some doubles action.
