The American humorously thanked the Rangers fans for their warm welcome and hospitality, despite her allegiance to their rivals, the Buffalo Sabres.

"It may have been a @NYRangers game but thanks for the warm welcome @TheGarden I’m so excited to play here Wednesday night @tennisnightout βœ¨πŸŽπŸŒƒ," Pegula posted on X.

Pegula also reassured everyone that she had made it clear she wouldn't wear any Rangers gear out of loyalty to her father Terry's team.

"The only thing I said was I can’t wear any rangers gear 😜 @BuffaloSabres," she commented.
