Paul recently clinched his third tour-level title and maiden grasscourt trophy at the Queen's Club Championships, beating Lorenzo Musetti 6-1, 7-6(8) in the final. His girlfriend Paige Lorenze arrived in London just in time to support the American during the title clash, enthusiastically cheering him on from the sidelines.
Lorenze later joined the 27-year-old on court, posing alongside him with the trophy. However, their photoshoot generated controversy when her attempts to direct Tommy Paul's face for the camera were criticized by fans, who accused her of clawing at his neck.
Addressing the criticism in her latest YouTube vlog, Paige Lorenze playfully grabbed Paul's neck during their drive to Wimbledon, with the duo even hilariously forming claw shapes with their hands for the camera.
"I'm going to claw your neck," she joked (at 6:34).
Lorenze continued to poke fun at the incident, sharing a cheeky response to a fan's comment about her "claw."
"Live laugh love claw," she responded.
