"Margot Robbie, please" - Stefanos Tsitsipas yet again invites actress to 'any tournament' of her choice, girlfriend Paula Badosa responds
Stefanos Tsitsipas grabbed another opportunity to invite Hollywood actress Margot Robbie to watch one of his matches at the ongoing 2024 US Open. He humorously revealed that his girlfriend Paula Badosa approved the invitation.
During an interview at the Major, Tsitsipas was asked if there was a celebrity who has not watched him play and he would love to invite. The Greek player responded by saying it's common knowledge who he is going to invite.
"Paula approves, formal invite to Margot Robbie, please. Any tournament you want. I have tickets for you. I have credentials for you, not even tickets," Tsitsipas said.
Badosa replied to a clip of her boyfriend's comments posted on X and said:
"I want her also in my team 😒 @steftsitsipas 🙃"
During an on-court interview at the Australian Open last year, Tsitsipas offered Robbie a similar invitation and said:
“Australia is such a great country, I like a lot of Aussie things, one of my favorite actresses comes from Australia, Margot Robbie."
Later at Wimbledon 2023, Tsitsipas said his dream doubles partner is the "The Wolf of Wall Street" actress.
“My current girlfriend supports it because she is a fan too, a big fan of hers, so I would go with Margot Robbie, I’m happy with that,” he added.
Currently, Tsitsipas and Badosa are in New York to kick off their 2024 US Open campaigns. Qualifiers of the men's and women's singles finished yesterday and the first rounds start today.
