Maria Sharapova shared an adorable moment of her two-year-old son Theodore patiently awaiting Santa Claus. The Russian tennis star, who often shares glimpses of her family life online, is embracing the festive spirit with her loved ones.

Sharapova took to her Instagram Story to share a heartwarming video of her son Theodore patiently looking on as Santa Claus was making his way around their backyard. The Russian paired the video with a heart emoji and Christmas-themed music to embrace the festive spirit.

A few days ago, Sharapova shared another delightful video on Instagram featuring herself and her son where she was seen filling a shopping basket with Amara organic snacks. Later, the pair enjoyed the snacks during a walk outdoors. Sharapova captioned the post:

"My bestie and I picked up some @amarababyfood snacks for our kids. She filmed, I influenced. Can’t promise they made it back home untouched ( as demonstrated in the video 🤫). They’re in my stroller, in my travel bag and possibly Theo’s stocking😉 "

Sharapova and British businessman Alexander Gilkes have been in a relationship since 2018. They announced their engagement in December 2020. The couple welcomed their son, Theodore, on July 1, 2022. Currently, the couple has been focusing on their family life, with no immediate plans for a wedding.


Maria Sharapova utilizes 'negotiation skills' learned during her playing and business career to parent son Theodore

Maria Sharapova, who transitioned from an illustrious tennis career to entrepreneurship and motherhood, recently shared how the negotiation skills she honed throughout her career are helping her navigate parenthood.

During an interview with the Tennis Channel at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, she revealed:

"It's going. There's a lot of negotiation skills that go on with parenthood which I didn't know that the negotiations that I learned through my career in business and in the sport that I would apply to parenthood. But I'm learning about that every day. You got to give something to take something," Maria Sharapova said (0:25 onwards).
"It's been one of the best things that's happened to me in my life and I get to teach him and grow with him," she added.

Sharapova is a five-time Grand Slam champion, including two French Open titles, and a former World No. 1. Known for her powerful game, she also built a successful business career after retiring from tennis.
