Martina Navratilova calls former President George W. Bush a 'coward' for refusing to endorse Kamala Harris or Donald Trump ahead of 2024 US elections
Martina Navratilova slammed former President George W. Bush for not endorsing Donald Trump or Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 US Presidential Elections. She took to X to reshare a post condemning Bush's silence regarding the impending elections.
An X user expressed disappointment that Bush has not endorsed anyone in the current election, especially given the number of Republicans who have endorsed Harris. They feel Bush, as a former President, has to speak up, especially given concerns about Trump’s behavior and fitness for office:
"Former Presidents are in a very exclusive club of people who served at the highest levels, and swore to defend the Constitution. You KNOW he sees how sh**ty, unfit, and unhinged Trump is. If he doesn't speak up now, we don't ever need to hear his opinion on anything ever again."
Navratilova reshared the post adding:
"W. Bush is a coward…"
Navratilova reshared another post denouncing Trump on October 30.
Martina Navratilova takes a jibe at Donald Trump, calling him a "low IQ guy"
John Kelly, who served as White House Chief of Staff under former President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2019, shared his perspective on Trump’s leadership style. Speaking to The New York Times, the 74-year-old reflected on Trump’s alignment with authoritarian principles, saying:
"Well, looking at the definition of fascism: It’s a far-right authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy. So certainly, in my experience, those are the kinds of things that he thinks would work better in terms of running America."
Trump responded to Kelly's comments at a rally, calling his former Chief of Staff a "low IQ guy." A video of the 78-year-old criticizing Kelly was posted on X and Martina Navratilova reshared it writing:
"I know who is a low IQ guy and he wears a lot of orange makeup."
With early voting underway, several prominent figures have already cast their ballots, including Coco Gauff, Andy Roddick—a noted Trump critic—and his wife Brooklyn Decker.
