"Thank you and I love you" - Aryna Sabalenka shows love and appreciation towards "beautiful boyfriend" Georgios Frangulis
Just like during her US Open post-final interview, Aryna Sabalenka had kind words for her team during her post-match interview after winning the Wuhan Open. She thanked her team and expressed her love for her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis.
Thank you so much and of course, thank you my beautiful boyfriend for your support. Thank you and I love you,” Sabalenka said.
As she blushed after saying this, Frangulis was seen making adorable gestures towards the Belarusian. The pair have been traveling together on the WTA tour for a major part of the season as they were spotted together in France, London, and New York, among other places.
With her win over Zheng Qinwen in the Wuhan Open final, Sabalenka has extended her head-to-head lead against the Chinese to 4-0. Moreover, the 26-year-old is now in prime position to end the season as World No. 1.
She has already overtaken Iga Swiatek in the WTA Race to Riyadh. The current World No. 1, who recently split with her coach, has not played since the US Open and will be hoping to make a comeback to the tour soon.
