Miami Open 2023 final, Daniil Medvedev vs Jannik Sinner: Where to watch, TV schedule, live streaming details, and more
Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner are set to clash in the final of the 2023 Miami Open on Sunday.
Medvedev's 19-match winning streak came to an end in the final of the Indian Wells Masters. He was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets, but got back to his winning ways in Miami.
Following a first-round bye, the Russian easily defeated Roberto Carballes Baena in the second round. A walkover from Alex Molcan sent Medvedev into the fourth round, where he won against Quentin Halys.
The former World No. 1 knocked out Christopher Eubanks in the quarterfinals. Up against compatriot Karen Khachanov in the semifinals, he lost a set for the first time in the tournament, but won the match in three sets.
Medvedev has now reached a fifth consecutive final. He has now reached the title round of all important tournaments held on hardcourts - the Australian Open, the US Open, the ATP Finals, and other Masters 1000 events.
Sinner scored straight-sets wins over Laslo Djere, Grigor Dimitrov and Andrey Rublev to reach the last eight here. He then defeated Emil Ruusuvuori to set up a semifinal against World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz.
The Italian lost to the teenager in the semifinals at Indian Wells a couple of weeks ago. He got his revenge this time, ousting the defending champion in a three-set battle to reach a second final in Miami.
With two of the tour's most in-form players set to duke it out in the final, it's set to be an electrifying contest. On that note, here are all the details about their upcoming match:
