Mother of three, Chris Evert moved by NFL star Jason Kelce's heartwarming hug with mother following his Super Bowl loss

Tennis icon Chris Evert recently reacted to NFL star Jason Kelce's wholesome hug with his mother after he lost the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 12).

Kelce, a football center for the Philadelphia Eagles, lost Sunday's final by a whisker as the Kansas City Chiefs won the LVII, their second title in four years. A late goal just seconds before the final whistle gave the Chiefs an unassailable lead of 38-35 as they clinched the coveted title.

On a different note, Jason Kelce and his brother Travis Kelce, who played for the Chiefs, became the first set of siblings to compete against each other in the mega sporting event.

After his loss, a dejected Jason was roaming around in the crowd while his brother shared the winner's stage with his teammates. Soon after finding his mother Donna, Jason embraced her as he found comfort in his mother's warm hug.

Evert, who herself has three sons, was visibly moved by the post and turned to Twitter to react to the lovely sight of a mother consoling his son.

"Awwww, having three sons, I love this," Chris Evert tweeted.

Having enjoyed immense success on-the-court during her career, Evert has comparatively struggled to live with fame in her personal life.

In an interview with The Guardian, the 68-year-old shed some light on how she has been troubled by fame in her life. Talking about the same, she mentioned the ill-effects of "fame" during the young age of players.

"We could do a five-hour interview about fame and the lack of privacy and how you pay a price when you’re successful at a young age and you haven’t developed a personality and your morals and beliefs. It can stunt your growth," Evert said.

Speaking further, Evert stated how fame affects a player's relationship with their close ones.

"When people tell you for years how great you are, they don’t set boundaries and you’re able to get away with lots of stuff. Later in life that affects your relationships, not only with husbands but your siblings and best friend," she added.

Chris Evert has had three marriages in her life. She married John Lloyd in 1979, however, they separated in 1987. With Andy Mill, she became a mother to three sons. Evert then married Greg Norman, a golfer, however her third marriage didn't go well either, as the duo parted ways later in life.
