Naomi Osaka fashion statement: How much does it cost to put together Japanese's stunning outfit from latest photoshoot by the ocean?
Naomi Osaka's latest ocean photoshoot saw her donning a beautiful pink attire, which has taken the internet by storm. The Japanese was enjoying her off-season at the Cayman Islands, where she also got herself clicked.
On Sunday, November 24, Osaka took to Instagram to share some pictures, where she was seen posing against a stunning backdrop of the Cayman Islands.
While she posed atop a pink and orange surfboard, her gorgeous outfit also caught the attention of many online.
Osaka's beautiful pink dress is a 'Rosetta' handmade knit mohair gathered halter dress which is completed with i-cord straps and bows. These are made by a seller named 'Made in Magic' (_immadeofmagic on Instagram). According to their website, the attire is priced at $175.
Her look was completed by pink, heart-shaped heels. These are 'Love Heel' thong-strap mules in synthetic leather and rubber by the footwear brand, YUME YUME and cost approximately $392.92.
Naomi Osaka's post has gone viral online, garnering over 101,000 likes in just over a day. It has also sparked reactions from her boyfriend Cordae and one of her idols, Venus Williams. Her attire also featured a stunning white-colored Louis Vuitton bag.
The bag in Naomi Osaka's ocean photoshoot is Louis Vuitton's On to Go BB, which costs approximately $913. It is made from a mix of Monogram and Monogram reverse canvas, and fitted with Toron handles, with the company logo in its center.
It is worth noting the 27-year-old has been a global brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton since 2020.
"For me, that's the super-suit color" - Naomi Osaka commented on her 2024 US Open custom-made attire
During the US Open in August, Naomi Osaka rocked a stunning custom-made Nike kit, which was a black outfit accompanied by white-colored frills and bows. Her shoes matched the pattern with white bows attached to their back. Interestingly, this was her attire for night matches, as she had a green counterpart for day matches.
Speaking on the significance of her attire to NY Times, she said,
"For me, black is strength. For me, that's the super-suit color. I feel a little bit like Black Panther."
She also shared her excitement about donning her daytime attire. However, her campaign came to an end in the second round against Karolina Muchova.
Osaka returned to tour this year after the birth of her daughter Shai in July last year. On her return, the Japanese struggled to replicate her previous performances, ending the season with a 22-18 win/loss record and is ranked World No. 60.
However, she looks to have put the woes of the 2024 season behind her and kicked off preparations for the next year. Osaka shared some highlights from her first preseason practice, including a video featuring her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou.
"It’s giving “call the ambulance," she captioned.
The duo debuted their partnership at the China Open after Naomi Osaka parted ways with Wim Fissette to bring Mouratoglou on board. The French coach also said he was 'really proud' of the Japanese' efforts during their debut event.
The 27-year-old's season came to an abrupt end after she sustained a back injury during her fourth-round match against Coco Gauff at China Open.
