Naomi Osaka's boyfriend Cordae flexes Rolex watch, pokes fun at the 'duality' of his lifestyle while driving a Honda
Naomi Osaka's boyfriend and American rapper Cordae recently showed off his lavish Rolex watch. Cordae also poked fun at his modest car not matching up to the luxury of his timepiece.
Cordae has been hard at work promoting his latest album 'The Crossroads,' which features collaborations with renowned artists like Kanye West and Lil Wayne. Osaka has also been seen supporting her boyfriend, playfully expressing frustration over listeners "sleeping on" his standout song 'Don't Walk Away.'
Cordae recently took to social media and flaunted his Rolex Sky-Dweller, which retails at $16,500. However, the 27-year-old poked fun at the "duality" of his lifestyle as he highlighted the Honda logo on his steering wheel.
"Duality," he posted on his Instagram story.
Cordae, who has a one-year-old daughter Shai with Naomi Osaka, recently also shared a powerful message urging parents to protect their children from the dangers of social media. The rapper warned his followers against posting their family members, particularly their kids, online amid increasing threats to cyber security and advancements in artificial intelligence.
"Idk who needs to hear this but social media is not a real place. Just because you don't see something happening on here don't mean it ain't happening in REAL LIFE. People show what they want you to see. It's a STAGE," he wrote.
"Stop putting all your info online, especially if you have a large following. Stop posting your family members with no proper discernment ESPECIALLY your kids. Cyber security is only getting worse, Al is only getting better. Stay safe and protected loved ones," he added.
Naomi Osaka and her boyfriend Cordae have been mindful of protecting their daughter Shai's privacy, choosing not to post any pictures of her on social media.
"I don't think I've ever felt this type of joy" - Naomi Osaka shares adorable update about her and boyfriend Cordae's daughter Shai
In a recent Q&A session on social media, Naomi Osaka shared an adorable update about her daughter Shai. The former World No. 1 disclosed that the toddler would run after her while calling her "mommy," marveling at the unique joy motherhood had brought her.
"Shai runs after me saying "mommy" now... I don't think I've ever felt this type of joy," Naomi Osaka wrote on her Instagram story.
Osaka has previously spoken about how "easy" she found it to co-parent Shai with her boyfriend Cordae. In an interview with InStyle magazine last year, the four-time Grand Slam champion revealed that their mutual respect and open communication helped resolve parenting disputes, as they both prioritized what was best for their daughter.
"Parenting with Cordae has been easy so far. We built a really good foundation. I don't know if it's because he's just an easygoing guy, but I think we just respect each other's opinions. And if we disagree on something, we talk it out. At the end of the day, we both want what's best for Shai," she said.
On the tennis front, Naomi Osaka has kicked off her preseason training with her new coach Patrick Mouratoglou, as she gears up to commence her 2025 season at the ASB Classic in Auckland.
