Naomi Osaka takes a dig at Kevin Hart after beating him at pickleball despite his "sh*t talking"
Naomi Osaka shared highlights from her pickleball match against renowned Hollywood actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Following her triumph, the Japanese star delivered a lighthearted remark aimed at the 45-year-old.
Osaka tried her hand at pickleball during a vacation in Japan, where she was accompanied by her daughter Shai. A few months later, she had the opportunity to face Hart. Osaka shared Hart's Instagram post featuring their match on her story.
The World No. 58 wrote that she initially thought she would lose to The Jumanji star because of his incessant trash-talking.
"I would like to say this was my first time playing pickle ball and I thought I was gonna lose by the amount of sh*t talking my opponent was doing lmao," she wrote.

Osaka later shared one of the pictures from Evolve's Instagram post on her story. Both posed together with Hart making an unusual face. The four-time Major champion wrote:
"The face you make when you lose 11-1 after talking sh*t the whole time."

Kevin Hart shared a clip from his pickleball match against Osaka. The comic admitted he initially believed he was skilled at the burgeoning sport, but the 27-year-old quickly proved him wrong with her skills.
"Word on the street is that I might be a pro in pickle ball …. Ok not really but I’m good damn it," Hart claimed. "At least I thought I was until @naomiosaka came over to my house and whooped my a*s like I stole something 😂😂😂😂😂 First game I held my own 11-7 and felt good about myself…. The next game she made me understand the true definition of a pro and beat me 11-1," he wrote.
Hart later expressed his gratitude to Osaka for visiting his home, playfully warning her of a rematch in the future. He added:
"I got her right where I want her…. This isn’t over damn it!!!!!! Thank you for coming and being so damn cool and super thank you for being so sweet to my kids!!!!! We love you and can’t wait to watch you kick a*s in the Australian open!!!!!"
Osaka is determined to succeed in the upcoming season and has already started her preparations. The Japanese star will begin her 2025 campaign at the ASB Classic, scheduled to start on December 30, 2024.
