Novak Djokovic's official outfit for Paris Olympics 2024 revealed

Novak Djokovic's official look for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been revealed. The kit, designed by Djokovic's apparel sponsor Lacoste, features Serbia's traditional red, blue, and white colors.

An Olympic gold medal has so far proved elusive for the Serb, who has pretty much broken every record when it comes to title hauls across all the other high-profile singles tournaments in men's tennis.

Djokovic's greatest rivals, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray, have all won Olympic gold medals in either singles or doubles in the p. The Serb's best finish at the Games came at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he won the Bronze medal.

The 24-time Major winner struck a proud pose wearing the official 2024 kit, which also features tennis shoes in Serbia's colors designed by Djokovic's shoe sponsor Asics. Djokovic also wore Serbia's flag. The former World No. 1 was snapped in the kit playing his signature two-handed backhand as well.

It has so far been a topsy-turvy season for the Serb, where he is yet to win a single title. However, his form picked up at the recently-concluded Wimbledon Championships, as he reached the final despite having undergone knee surgery just weeks before. Here, he lost to Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.

The Serb now has 23 wins out of 30 matches so far in 2024. Apart from the Wimbledon final, he also reached the semifinals of the Australian Open and the Monte-Carlo Masters.

In a conversation with the International Tennis Federation in 2021, Djokovic had revealed that he always finds more motivation to play at his best when representing Serbia. At the time, the Serb's sights were set on the Tokyo Olympics.

"I always enjoyed playing at the Olympic Games and always enjoyed representing my country in both the Davis Cup and the Olympic Games. Obviously, I don't have too many opportunities to play the Olympic Games as they happen every four years for every athlete," Djokovic had told the ITF.

The then-35-year-old reached the semifinals of the Tokyo Games before losing to eventual gold medalist Alexander Zverev. He later also lost the bronze medal match against Pablo Carreno Busta.

The 2024 Paris Olympics' tennis event is scheduled to start on Saturday, July 27, with the order of play set to be released on the evening of Friday, July 26.
