Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas show their admiration for each other; revisit their photo shoot together
Paula Badosa has shared pictures from her photo shoot with Stefanos Tsitsipas. The couple donned vintage-inspired looks, with their chemistry captured in each frame.
The Spaniard was present courtside to support Tsitsipas in the Paris Masters this month. She posted snaps from their shoot on her Instagram story.
Badosa last competed in the Ningbo Open, where she reached the semifinals. She outfoxed the likes of Beatriz Haddad Maia and Wang Xiyu en route to the last four, but couldn't make her mark against Daria Kasatkina.
Tsitsipas first saw Badosa in action during the 2020 Australian Open and fell in love. They have been dating each other since 2023 and often share their special moments with their fans on social media. The Greek also shared a snap of his girlfriend via his Instagram story with a sunshine emoji. The picture seemed like one from a feature interview by Badosa for a Spanish magazine.
Tsitsipas and Badosa have performed well on their respective tours this year, with the former capturing his third Masters 1000 crown in Monte-Carlo and Badosa lifting the title in Washington. She defeated Marie Bouzkova in the finals of the Citi Open in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
Paula Badosa highlights Stefanos Tsitispas' support during her injury - "He has been very important in my recovery"
Paula Badosa went through a tough spell on the sidelines due to multiple injury breaks last year. She struggled to find any rhythm on tour and shared that Stefanos Tsitsipas always empathized with her in an interview with Hola magazine.
"Stefanos was an unconditional support for me in all those months I spent lying on a sofa," Paula Badosa said. "He is a very sensitive person and, sometimes, he empathized so much that he ended up suffering too much. There were times when I had to cheer myself up just for him, who was constantly looking for solutions to make me feel better.
That's why when I won the title in Washington, he was the first person I called and mentioned because the truth is that he has been very important in my recovery."
With the WTA and ATP tours almost ending this year, both players will be keen to make a significant impact in 2025. While Badosa will be seen representing Spain in the Billie Jean King Cup, Tsitsipas could return to the fold at the Australian Open next year.
