PICTURE: Taylor Townsend steals the show as bridesmaid, credits Serena Williams' Wyn Beauty for her flawless make-up
Taylor Townsend recently showcased her elegant white outfit from her friend's wedding. The 28-year-old also credited Serena Williams' Wyn Beauty for her radiant look.
Townsend, who holds a season record of 23-20, last competed at the 2024 China Open, where she faced a second-round exit after losing to Katie Boulter in straight sets.
On October 18, Taylor Townsend shared a glimpse of her look from social media influencer April Buckles' wedding via Instagram. Townsend was a bridesmaid and wore a stunning white dress accentuating her appearance with products from Serena Williams' beauty brand, Wyn.
"Make up beat thanks to wyn. Serena Williams you did your big one with this," she wrote.
Serena Williams later shared Townsend's picture in her Instagram story, adding two heart emojis.
Serena Williams has long combined her passion for fashion and glamour, which culminated in the launch of her beauty brand, Wyn, earlier this year. According to Williams, the products are designed to simplify finding the perfect skin tint shade. Wyn Beauty's offerings became available on April 7 at Ulta Beauty stores and on their website. Moreover, she launched the beauty brand to fulfill the needs of consumers looking for quick and efficient makeup solutions.
"WYN Beauty wants you to understand you can be glamorous and active": Serena Williams
In an interview with skincare magazine Byrdie in April, Serena Williams emphasized that her beauty brand is designed for everyone, aiming to meet their daily needs and preferences.
"It's not about [the celebrity title] for me. This brand is for everyone — it doesn't matter who you are. We've drawn from my experiences and everyday life to reach everyone and fit their needs," she said.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner also detailed her vision for WYN Beauty, highlighting its versatility for active and glamorous lifestyles. She emphasized that the collection allows quick application and caters to busy schedules without compromising elegance.
"For me, it's about creating a collection that speaks to me, whether I'm on the tennis court or picking my daughter up from school. A little goes a long way with what we've created with WYN Beauty. If I wake up late, I can quickly put on our skin tint, concealer, and lip and cheek tint and look fully made up all day. WYN Beauty wants you to understand you can be glamorous and active—and own it," she added.
In addition to Wyn, Williams also founded Will Perform, a topical pain relief and body-care brand. She also offers a clothing line called S by Serena and a jewelry collection called Serena Williams Jewelry.
