"Pretty girls"- Paula Badosa sends her love to Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff & co as they turn heads in WTA Finals photoshoot

Paula Badosa shared her enthusiasm for a star-studded photoshoot at the WTA Finals, which included the likes of Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff and the remaining six players competing in Riyadh. The tournament marks the final significant event on the WTA calendar this year and begins on Saturday (Nov. 2), at the King Saud University Sports Arena in Saudi Arabia.

Badosa was last seen competing in the Ningbo Open, where she lost to Daria Kasatkina in the semifinals. The Spaniard has had a promising season this year after spending most of 2023 on the sidelines due to injury concerns.

The former World No. 2 sent her love to the top eight players by reacting to their recent photoshoot in Riyadh. The elegant frame included the likes of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and reigning Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova at the WTA Finals.

While Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and Barbora Krejcikova qualified for the event by winning a Major, Jasmine Paolini, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula and Zheng Qinwen scored enough points to book their spot.

Jasmine Paolini, in particular, has had a breakthrough season on tour this year by claiming her first WTA 1000 title in Dubai and securing runner-up finishes at the French Open and Wimbledon Championships.

Chinese No. 1 Zheng Qinwen also caught the shutterbugs' attention with a runner-up finish at the Australian Open and a historic gold medal triumph at the Summer Olympics. She defeated Donna Vekic in straight sets to win the biggest prize of her career in Paris.

Coco Gauff may have missed out at the Majors this year, but chalked up title-winning runs at the ASB Classic and China Open. She also reached the semifinals of the Australian Open and the French Open, where she lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets.

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek is the defending champion at the WTA Finals this year. She is drawn in the same group as Coco Gauff, Barbora Krejcikova and Jessica Pegula in Riyadh.

The Pole leads the head-to-head battle agaisnt Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff but shares the honors against Barbora Krejcikova at 2-2. She will begin her campaign against the Czech in the first group-stage match on Sunday (Nov. 3).

While the above-mentioned players are included in the Orange group, the Purple group features the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina and Zheng Qinwen. Aryna Sabalenka will begin her campaign against Zheng Qinwen on Saturday (Nov. 2).
