"Putting pool with Jr" - Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian offers a peek into his golf session with daughter Olympia
Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently shared an adorable photo of their daughter Olympia playing golf. The couple, married in 2017, has two daughters: Olympia, born on September 1, 2017, and Adira River, born in August 2023.
Ohanian, a tech entrepreneur who co-founded Reddit and now runs the venture capital firm Seven Seven Six, is also deeply devoted to his family. The 41-year-old frequently shares pictures of their moments together on social media.
Ohanian shares a close bond with his eldest daughter, Olympia. He often posts glimpses of their adorable moments together, including baking, dining out, playing video games, and, much to the seven-year-old's delight, golfing.
Last year, the Reddit co-founder shared an image of Olympia's mid-swing, proudly calling himself her caddy. He also acknowledged that the seven-year-old outshines him in golfing skills.
Ohanian once again showcased Olympia's passion for the sport by sharing a picture of the seven-year-old lining up to pot the ball on X.
"Putting pool with Jr this morning. She won a few robux off me," he wrote.
In addition to her love for golf, Olympia has shown a keen interest in soccer and, like her mother, in tennis. Ohanian co-owns the Los Angeles Golf Club with his wife, Serena Williams, and seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams.
Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently explained to Olympia the importance of voting amidst the US Presidential Election
After casting his vote on November 1 for the U.S. presidential election, Ohanian shared on Instagram that his daughter Olympia asked him about voting. In response, the 41-year-old highlighted the rarity of free and fair elections and peaceful transitions of power, urging appreciation for these rights.
"Olympia's big question last night was about voting and I explained what a miraculous (YOUNG) experiment our republic is in the timeline of humanity (and we didn't get it perfect from the start but we are always working to improve it - like fighting to make sure girls -- especially Black girls like her -- could vote) and how RARE a society with prolonged free and fair elections AND peaceful transitions of power is. Do not take these for granted," he wrote.
Republican nominee Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election with 295 electoral votes, while his opponent, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, secured 226 electoral votes, falling short in the presidential race.
While tennis stars like Andy Roddick and Martina Navratilova expressed their political views during the elections, Serena Williams has refrained from involvement, having once stated that she does not vote due to her Jehovah's Witness faith.
