Rafael Nadal reached the fourth round of the French Open after defeating 26th seed Botic van de Zandschulp 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 on Friday. The Spaniard is yet to drop a set at the French Open, having beaten Jordan Thompson and Corentin Moutet in straight sets in the previous rounds.

Nadal will face Felix Auger-Aliassime in the last 16 of the French Open. The Canadian reached the fourth round of the competition after beating Filip Krajinovic in straight sets.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, who had zero #RolandGarros wins before 2022, is into the last 16 in Paris, as he gets a good 7-6(3), 7-6(2), 7-5 win over Filip Krajinovic, from a break down in the 3rd set.

Auger-Aliassime is coached by Nadal's uncle, Toni. Nadal previously beat the Canadian in straight sets in the second round of the Madrid Open in 2019.

The winner of the match will take on either Novak Djokovic or Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals of the French Open.
