Sebastian Korda compliments his sister and professional golfer Nelly Korda on the funky shoes she wore during the Drive On Championship
Sebastian Korda complimented his sister and professional golfer Nelly Korda for sporting a funky pair of shoes during the 2023 LGPA Drive On Championships.
Korda comes from a family who is active in sports considering his father Petr Korda, who is Czech, was also a tennis player and reached a career-high ranking of No.2 in February 1998.
His sisters 24-year-old Nelly Korda and 30-year-old Jessica Korda, are professional golfers on the LGPA tour. Nelly Korda bagged Olympic Gold in the women's individual gold event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Nelly Korda reached the World No. 1 ranking in women's golf in 2021.
The junior Korda sister is currently competing at the LGPA Drive On Championship at the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club. The official Instagram account of the LGPA tour posted a video of Korda during the tournament where she almost missed scoring an eagle.

The video caught the attention of her brother Sebastian Korda, who could not help but notice his sister's shoes. Korda could be seen sporting a funky black and white Nike shoe with a hint of neon yellow. Korda took to his Instagram stories to compliment his sister's shoe game and added some fire emojis.

A look at Sebastian Korda's past performaces at the Sunshine Double
American tennis star Sebastian Korda is currently recovering from a wrist injury that he sustained at this year's Australian Open in January, which has led him to miss the BNP Paribas Open and the Miami Open, which are dubbed as the 'Sunshine Double'.
At last year's Indian Wells Masters, Korda faced off against Rafael Nadal in the round of 64 and was defeated 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 in three sets. At the Miami Open, Korda reached the round of 32 but was ousted by Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic 7-6, 6-3.
In 2021, Korda was defeated by compatriot Frances Tiafoe in the round of 64 6-0, 6-2 at the Indian Wells Masters while at the Miami Open, the American managed to reach the quarterfinals but was ultimately defeated by Russia's Andrey Rublev 7-5, 7-6.
At the 2021 Miami Open, four American players, Korda, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and John Isner, qualified for the Round of 16, the most since 2004.
