Sebastian Korda's girlfriend sent love to the American as he began the post-surgery recovery process. The American tennis player had recently announced that due to some issues in his elbow, he underwent surgery.
The World No. 19 last featured in the US Open where Tomas Machac got the better of him in the second round. On October 12, Korda took to Instagram to announce that he had undergone surgery on his right elbow due to some issues.
He posted an image of himself with a taped-up right arm on the hospital bed with the caption:
"Hi everyone, I wanted to update you all—I’ve been dealing with some elbow issues and my team and I decided surgery was the best option. Everything went great, and I can’t wait to be back on court soon. Thanks for all your support! 🙏❤️"
The American had been in excellent form this year, winning the Washington ATP 500 title and breaking into the Top 20. This achievement made Sebastian and his father, Petr Korda, the first-ever father-son duo to both be ranked in the ATP Top 20.
He received a lot of support from fellow players including Hubert Hurkacz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Sloane Stephens, and others. Nelly and Jessica, Sebastian's sisters, also showed their love and support in the comment section of the post.

Ivana is supportive of Korda's tennis career and they travel together frequently. Speaking to Daily Express in an exclusive during July this year, Korda expressed the importance of Ivana in his life.
“I’m very appreciative whenever she comes and we have a lot of fun together," he said. "She takes my mind off of tennis, and we have fun and can relax and go sightseeing a little bit and just be normal in a way."
Korda emphasized the importance of taking time away from the tennis courts, noting that any athlete must clear their mind and recharge as it helps them return to practice feeling refreshed and ready to perform.
