Serena Williams, Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic: Everything you need to know about tennis players' shoe launches from January 2023

The first month of 2023 has already seen a few tennis stars' new shoes being launched.

Novak Djokovic launched the Court FF3 Novak shoe in collaboration with his sponsor ASICS. The Japanese company shared a video of the Serb training while wearing the shoes on Instagram.

The World No. 1 can be heard saying in the video that the ASICS team did a great job in ensuring that the shoe achieved the optimal balance between comfort, flexibility and stability.

"If you are trying to make the perfect shoe then why not try to cover every single detail? It's not easy to make the shoe comfortale, flexible and stable at the same time. It's brilliant work done by the ASICS team to achieve the optimal balance between these three compnents," the 35-year-old said.
"You know, I'm really glad that they allowed me to participate in the process of development. Nothing feels better than playing in ASICS Court FF3 Novak Shoe," he added.

Coco Gauff's sponsor, New Balance, launched a special edition of the teenager's signature sneaker Coco CG1, named Coco's Classics.

Serena Williams' Design Crew redesigned the classic Nike Air Max 90 Futura. The shoe is covered in different shades of light tan and is made using suede and leather. The 41-year-old heaped praise on her diverse team, which had ten designers.

"The world isn’t one color. We come from different backgrounds and think differently. When you bring all that diversity together, can you imagine the amazing things that you are able to make?,” Williams stated.

Novak Djokovic donned his new sneakers while competing in this year's Australian Open.

The 35-year-old won the tournament after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 7-6(4), 7-6(5) in the final. He was dominant Down Under, dropping just one set en route to victory.

The Serbian's triumph at Melbourne Park saw him lift the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup for a record-extending 10th time. He also clinched his 22nd Grand Slam singles title, thus equaling Rafael Nadal's record. The World No. 1's Australian Open triumph also saw him return to the top of the ATP rankings.
