Serena Williams gives shoutout to sister Venus Williams for her dazzling Harper's Bazaar shoot themed around "Strength and beauty"

Serena Williams celebrated her sister, Venus Williams, for making her way to the UK issue of Harper's Bazaar for her 'strength and beauty'. She came fresh off releasing her second book, Strive, in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar.

After years of strong finishes and minor injury-marred tournaments, Venus was diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome in 2011. Since then, the seven-time Grand Slam singles winner experienced a difficult journey, having witnessed her ranking drop to No. 135 at the beginning of 2012. However, she persevered and re-entered the top 10 in 2015.

Now, the 44-year-old self-documented her journey in her new book 'Strive', intending to pave the way for other aspirants.

"I want to help people have fun being healthy. It shouldn’t be hard, or a horrible journey," she told Harper's Bazaar.

In the past week, Venus was busy attending a promotional event at Swarovski's store on Fifth Avenue in New York City and the popular talk show, The View and Good Morning America. She also graced the October issue of Harper's Bazaar, promoting her book in a shoot themed around 'strength and beauty'.

In Serena Williams' recent Instagram story, she gave a shout-out to her sister, who looked gorgeous in a red-roped dress, a beige bodycon, and a mustard yellow dress on Bazaar UK's cover.

"Yessss" her story caption read.

On her Instagram handle, Venus shared a fulfillment-themed video montage and voiced what the book holds and how it will inspire others.

"I’m so excited to finally share that my new book, STRIVE, is here! It’s been such a journey putting all my experiences and lessons into words, both from life and from the tennis court. My biggest hope is that STRIVE inspires you to take action and embrace your own path," wrote the elder Williams.
