Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian praises NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo's heartfelt gesture of gifting signed shoes to young fan

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian praised Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo for his heartfelt gesture after a recent game. The Greek-Nigerian NBA player gifted a signed pair of shoes to a young fan who had wished him luck before the match.

The Milwaukee Bucks faced the Memphis Grizzlies on Halloween and a young fan who goes by the name 'Superfan Vivian' on X (formerly Twitter) was spotted wishing Antetokounmpo the best ahead of the match.

The 29-year-old was a star performer with 37 points but could not help his team bag the win as the Grizzlies won the match comfortably 122-99. However, Antetokounmpo won hearts with a beautiful gesture as he gave the young fan his signed shoes after the match.

A video of the gesture was posted on Instagram and it showed the fan in shock upon receiving the shoes. Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, who knows the Antetokounmpo family well, reposted the video on his Story and wrote:

"My guy Giannis Antetokounmpo always looking out for the kids."

Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently praised Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family for honoring their late father, Charles Antetokounmpo, through the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF).

Established in 2017 after Charles passed from a heart attack on September 29, the foundation is dedicated to preserving his legacy. On the seventh anniversary of Charles' death, CAFF hosted a commemorative golf event attended by Ohanian, who commended the family’s inspiring journey.

"Thank you for coming out and supporting my family! 7 years ago today our dad went to heaven and we started CAFF to honor his legacy, I know he’s looking down and he’s proud 🙏🏽," Antetokounmpo wrote.

Reflecting on Giannis' tribute post, Ohanian replied:

"Getting to know Giannis, Thanasis, and their family over the years has been a joy (and inspiring as hell) — he's the real deal and I'm so happy to be a Day Zero supporter of his foundation, honoring his dad's great legacy."

The Williams and Antetokounmpo family have another connection, as Williams, her husband Ohanian, her sister Venus, and daughters Olympia and Adira are co-owners of Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC), with Giannis and his three brothers.
