Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian reacts to getting two fan stars as a long-time supporter of Washington Commanders
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has long been an ally of the NFL team Washington Commanders. The Reddit co-founder has said in the past that he has been innately devoted to the team as his father too was a fellow Redskin.
Ohanian took to his Instagram to share his reaction to being given two fan stars by the Commanders on the Washington Post.
"Two stars. I'll take it," said Ohanian.
Ohanian is often found cheering for his team, either live in stadiums or with his daughter at home. No matter the place, it is almost a given that if the Commanders are on the field, Alexis Ohanian would be tuned in.
Serena Williams' husband used his fan instincts to predict, back in August 2024, that his team would have 10 wins in the season and that WR Terry McLaurin would have eight touchdowns.
However, the Braves upped his expectations by having 12 wins and Terry, 13 touchdowns.
Ohanian was quick to update his followers on the team's achievements and claimed that he would never think less of them ever again.

Alexis Ohanian is a supporter of the NFL team Washington Commanders through and through. The American entrepreneur recently shared a post on X reflecting on one of the many fan experiences he has had with his dad.
"But we'll all feel you in Philly. I watched this with my dad from my mom's hospital room; I'd snuck in a 6 pack and we screamed as you dove over the goal line. Anybody. Anywhere. Anytime. @commanders," he said.
Earlier, Ohanian also shared in one of his posts that he helped his dad build a Commanders' wall in his 'man cave' with his collectibles.
The Reddit co-founder is trying to get his and Serena's daughters, Olympia and Adira, to be fellow Redskin stans soon. He was seen making a pancake with the Commanders logo for his daughters in the clip below:
Apart from the NFL, Ohanian also supports several women's sports like soccer, track and field and college basketball.
Come what may for the Redskins, Alexia Ohanian will surely be rooting for them this Sunday, 26 January 2025, at 3 pm ET as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the NFC Championships.
