Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shares feelings about Carlos Alcaraz's failed attempts at guessing $266,000 worth most expensive tennis card

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian shared his feelings after Carlos Alcaraz failed several attempts to guess the most expensive tennis card ever. The $266,000 card belonged to Williams herself and was bought by her husband.

A few days ago, Ohanian and Topps, a trading card manufacturer, jointly posted a Reel on Instagram of Alcaraz trying to guess the most expensive tennis card. The Spaniard's first few guesses involved only male players including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.

Later, he was presented with a hint that the card belonged to a female tennis star. Alcaraz got the name right in the first guess after learning the hint.

Ohanian has been steadily building an impressive sports card collection over the years. His collection spans multiple sports, including boxing, tennis, basketball, racing, and golf. Beyond sports, Ohanian’s interests extend to superhero cards.

Notably, the Reddit co-founder holds the largest collection of cards dedicated to his wife, Serena Williams, cementing his admiration for her legendary career.

On November 28, Alexis Ohanian revealed on social media that he had listed his Rafael Nadal Glossy NetPro Rookie card for auction. When a fan expressed surprise about the existence of tennis cards, Ohanian proudly highlighted his extensive Serena Williams card collection.

The Reddit co-founder has amassed 4,500 Serena cards, aiming to preserve her incredible legacy for future generations. In partnership with card trading company Alt, Ohanian recently showcased the collection, which is valued at approximately $2.5 million

"The whole plan for this is that like grandkids, great grandkids, they'll have this collection and probably hundred years from now, museums will want to put pieces of this up for the public display. But I don't want our grandkids to ever have to go to museums to see someone else's possession. They should be the ones renting it out. So that's why we got the greatest collection of all time for you [Serena Williams]," Ohanian said.

Williams and Ohanian tied the knot in November 2017, just months after giving birth to their daughter Olympia. Following Williams' retirement in 2022 with 23 Grand Slam titles to her name, she welcomed the pair's second daughter, Adira, in August 2023.
