Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian spends a day at Tiger Woods' putting course with parents and daughter Olympia
Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently shared pictures of his day spent at PopStroke, Tiger Woods' renowned putting course. Ohanian was accompanied by his parents as well as his daughter Olympia Ohanian.
The pictures show the father-daughter duo enjoying a fun-filled day of golfing and bonding.
PopStroke Entertainment Group, founded by former Wall Street Executive Greg Bartoli, has become a premier putting entertainment experience for golfers in just four short years. In 2019, Bartoli opened PopStroke's first location in Port St. Lucie, and in 2020, he brought on golfing legend Tiger Woods as a co-owner.
Woods' TGR Design renovated the Port St. Lucie course last year, and since then, the company has opened locations in Sarasota, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Houston. Two more venues are currently under construction in Arizona.
Alex Ohanian, a tech expert himself, recently shared some snapshots of his day out at PopStroke. Ohanian praised Tiger Woods for his work on the course and jokingly remarked that he had some suggestions for their app.
"Fantastic day of putting with @OlympiaOhanian and my folks @popstrok is well executed @tigerwoods — I have some feedback on the app tho," Alexis wrote in a recent Instagram post.
Serena Williams and Alex Ohanian have never been shy about sharing their daughter's life with the world online. Both have frequently posted pictures of Olympia on their social media accounts, and have received an outpouring of love and support from fans around the globe.
Ohanian also shared a video of Olympia enjoying putting on the course.
Serena Williams to feature in a 2023 Super Bowl commercial
Serena Williams recently took part in a round of golf for a Michelob ULTRA beer commercial, just ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl. The commercial features a star-studded cast of athletes and celebrities, including actor Brian Cox, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, soccer player Alex Morgan, and boxer Canelo Alvarez.
The advertisement also illuminates how golf culture is becoming increasingly inclusive and diverse. Williams believes that is particularly evident in the growing diversity of people who embrace the sport.
“I think golf is definitely changing to be more inclusive and more fun, and you see that more through the different types of people. There's a younger culture, and it's not really about country clubs and elitist attitudes anymore or so-called gatekeeping. It's about energetic fans, and inclusive communities, and younger, diverse faces. So I think that people are celebrating it with a new spirit,” Williams said. [via Forbes]
