Serena Williams recently shared a heartfelt post praising her husband, Alexis Ohanian, for often being "right too early." The couple, who are parents to two daughters, frequently express their love and admiration for each other publicly.
On her Instagram Story, Williams shared a post that read:
"Crazy is often being right too early"

"@alexisohanian All day [heart emoji]"
Ohanian has been a vocal advocate and investor in women’s sports, underscoring its growing potential. The Reddit co-founder has often stated that women’s sports are a prime investment area.
His initiatives include investing in the NWSL team Angel City FC and organizing Athlos NYC, a women-only track event, that was highly successful.
Additionally, Ohanian co-produced an exclusive show on X, The Offseason, which follows 11 NWSL players and has garnered over 130 million views in just four episodes.
"Love truly has no color" - When Serena Williams opened up about the differences between her and husband Alexis Ohanian
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian proposed to Serena Williams in 2016 before welcoming their daughter Olympia in September 2017. A few months later, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony that featured prominent personalities like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian.
In an interview with the New York Times in 2018, the American tennis icon discussed the differences between herself and her husband Ohanian, describing how they complement each other despite their varied backgrounds.
"I’m an athlete. He’s a business guy. I’m black. He’s white. We are totally opposite. I think we just complement each other. I think we understand hard work in different ways," Serena Williams said.
She also shared that she frequently speaks to Ohanian about the racial injustices she faces. However, Williams noted that her marriage to Ohanian reinforced, for her, that love transcends race.
"It’s interesting. I never thought I would have married a white guy, either, so it just goes to show you that love truly has no color, and it just really goes to show me the importance of what love is. And my dad absolutely loves Alexis," she added.
Williams retired from professional tennis after the 2022 US Open. The couple welcomed their second daughter Adira in August 2023. Williams and Ohanian regularly share their love and admiration for each other and their daughters on social media.
