Day 6 (August 1) of the tennis tournament at Paris Olympics will feature the women's singles semifinals and the men's singles quarterfinals. We are gradually reaching the medal stages and at least two women will confirm their places on the podium by the time the day's proceedings end.
Iga Swiatek will take on Zheng Qinwen in the first semifinal while Donna Vekic will lock horns with Anna Karolina Schmiedlova. Three of these four will be new Olympic medalists.
