Players will contest the gold and bronze medal play-off matches on Day 8 of the Paris Olympics 2024 on Saturday, August 3. The day will begin with the men's doubles match for the highest honors, with the American duo of Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek going up against Australians Matthew Ebden and John Peers for the same.

The Americans have an opportunity to nab the country's first gold medal in the discipline since Mike and Bob Bryan captured it at the London Games in 2012. Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul have a shot to claim the bronze medal for the country as well, and they will take on Tomas Machac and Adam Pavlasek from Czechia.

The women's singles final will feature China's Zheng Qinwen and Croatia's Donna Vekic. The former ousted World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the semifinals, handing the Pole her first loss at the venue since 2021.

As for Vekic, she ousted surprise semifinalist Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in the semifinals. The other two already contested the bronze medal match on Friday, with Swiatek coming out on top to capture her first Olympic medal.

The day will conclude with Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime and Italy's Lorenzo Musetti fighting for the bronze medal in men's singles. The former lost to Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, while the latter went down to Serbia's Novak Djokovic.
