In other important matches of that day, this year's French Open and Wimbledon runner-up Jasmine Paolini will look to continue her great form in the season by winning her match against Magda Linette.
The day will also feature former Roland Garros runner-up Coco Gauff and former Roland Garros champions competing in their respective second-round matches.
Let's look at some interesting matches in women's singles on day 3 without further ado.

She defeated Wimbledon quarterfinalist Lulu Sun in straight sets in the first round of the Paris Olympics.
Clara Burel has not had the best of seasons in 2024. Her record of 15-18 in 2024 is symbolic of her poor performances. She last played at Wimbledon, where she lost against Sonay Kartal in the second round. However, the Frenchwoman secured an impressive victory over No. 2 doubles player Katerina Siniakova in the first round at the Olympics.
These two players have not played against each other previously. However, given the current form, Kostyuk should be able to win the match.

Other than that, the Chinese player has struggled to make any sort of inroads in any of the other events that she has played in. She defeated Tamara Korpatsch of Germany in the first round at the Olympics.
