"Thanks for listening to me" - Paula Badosa reacts as Aryna Sabalenka spends days off the court with Georgios Frangulis ahead of French Open 2024

Paula Badosa recently reacted to Aryna Sabalenka spending time off the court with Georgios Frangulis ahead of the 2024 French Open. Both Badosa and Sabalenka will kick off their campaigns at Roland Garros on Monday, May 27.

Sabalenka is having an exceptional season thus far, winning one title - the Australian Open and reaching the finals at the Brisbane International, Madrid Open, and the Italian Open . She is seeded second in this year's French Open and will kick off her campaign against Erika Andreeva in the first round.

Meanwhile, Badosa has missed out on several tournaments in 2023 and 2024 due to injuries. She will start her campaign at Roland Garros against the 26th seed, Katie Bouter.

Recently, Aryna Sabalenka took to social media to share a glimpse of how she is spending her time off the court ahead of the French Open. She also shared a pictures of herself and Georgios Frangulis walking under an umbrella

"What my days off the court have been looking like recently πŸ˜‰ 🫢 ," Sabalenka captioned her Instagram post.

Sabalenka's close friend, Paula Badosa commented under the post stating that she was thankful that the World No.2 'listened' to her.

"Thanks for listening to me… 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ," Badosa wrote.
" Soooooooo f**** beautiful! πŸ”₯ ," Badosa added.

Frangulis also commented a dinosaur emoji and a heart emoji under the post.

"πŸ¦– ❀️ ," Georgios Frangulis wrote.

Aryna Sabalenka also shared the the photo of herself and Georgios Frangulis walking under an umbrella on her Instagram story, which Frangulis re-shared.

Aryna Sabalenka: "I love Paula Badosa very much, she is the best"

Last month, Aryna Sabalenka opened up about her close friendship with Paula Badosa, a friendship, she revealed has been cultivated over the past three to four years. Sabalenka expressed her "love" for the Spaniard and describing her as an "incredible person."

The World No.2 said that Badosa is her "soulmate" and that her friendship with Badosa is one of the best things that has ever happened to her.

"I love Paula [Badosa] very much. We have been friends for three or four years, she is an incredible person. It is very important to have friends on the circuit, so when you find someone who you feel is your soulmate, it is the best thing that can happen to you," Sabalenka said, as quoted by Punto de Break (translated from Spanish).

Aryna Sabalenka also stated that Paula Badosa is the "best."

"She is the best. I hope she returns to the elite, that she stops suffering with injuries. I am always here for whatever she needs," she added.
