Danielle Collins had a hilarious reaction to Paula Badosa and her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas’ Mixed Madness victory ahead of the 2024 US Open. The American showcased her eagerness to challenge the tennis couple, partnering with her boyfriend, Bryan.
Badosa and Tsitsipas, who have reached New York ahead of the US Open, participated in the Mixed Madness exhibition event during Fan Week on Tuesday, August 20. The couple competed against the likes of Coco Gauff-Ben Shelton, Naomi Osaka-Nick Kyrgios, and Amanda Anisimova-Taylor Fritz for a reported $200,000 in prize money.
After emerging victorious against Anisimova and Fritz in the final, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas shared an adorable kiss while holding the trophy. Noticing the couple’s triumph, Danielle Collins bantered with her boyfriend, Bryan Kipp, over their potential match against the two.
"You think we could take them @sleepykipp," she asked her partner on Instagram, adding a tennis racket and ball emoji.
This is not the first time Collins has shown her desire to share the court with Kipp, an engineering major. At the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, the couple enjoyed a tennis double date with French player Caroline Garcia and her fiance Borja.
During one of her interviews with the Tennis Channel in April, Danielle Collins also made known her intentions to compete alongside Kipp at USTA’s “Gold Ball” following her retirement later this year.
"But in the future, I'm hoping we'll play like the husband-wife doubles like the USTA, you play for the 'Gold Ball.' I explained to him that this is a big deal in the tennis world so hopefully that doesn't tear us apart," she joked at the time, shedding light on her boyfriend’s inexperience in tennis.

While Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have already commenced their practice session at Flushing Meadows, Danielle Collins will soon join her colleagues on site following her short stint in Mexico.
Collins, who won the titles in Miami and Charleston this year, recently contested the Monterrey Open, where she was the top seed. Following a first-round bye, though, her run concluded surprisingly as she was knocked out by 89th-ranked Erica Andreeva in her opening match.
The American will now head to New York for her career’s final Grand Slam, ahead of her impending retirement. Collins, the 2022 Australian Open runner-up, is one of the top 10 favorites to win the 2024 US Open title.
