Tommy Paul's girlfriend Paige Lorenze reacts to Coco Gauff sharing "Fall inspo" in stylish American Eagle photoshoot
Coco Gauff recently struck poses in a stunning photoshoot for American Eagle, showing off chic designs from her collaboration with the brand. Tommy Paul's girlfriend Paige Lorenze has expressed her admiration for Gauff's photoshoot.
On the tennis front, Gauff's hopes of a successful title defense at the 2024 US Open were dashed by compatriot Emma Navarro in the fourth round. As the 20-year-old produced an error-ridden display, Navarro capitalized to claim a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 victory. Gauff failed to defend her title at the New York Major and also lost three places in the WTA rankings, dropping down to the World No. 6.
However, Coco Gauff appears to have put the disappointment behind her, as she recently shared some "Fall inspo" on social media with a stunning photoshoot for her partnership with American Eagle.
The American dazzled in a business casual ensemble with a patterned beige blazer and wide-leg jeans. She also posed in an all-white tennis outfit, an all-denim look, and a stylish black leather jacket.
"Just dropping some Fall inspo for your feed ✨. New AE styles out now, plus some items from my collab still available on ae.com!" Gauff captioned her Instagram post.
Coco Gauff's post caught the attention of Tommy Paul's girlfriend Paige Lorenze, who signaled her love for the photoshoot.
"😍😍😍," Lorenze commented.
Paul also faced disappointment at his home Slam, following Gauff out of the US Open with a 7-6(3), 7-6(5), 6-1 loss to eventual champion Jannik Sinner in the fourth round.
"It is disappointing, but I'm not going to beat myself up" - Coco Gauff and Tommy Paul expressed similar sentiments after their US Open exits
Despite acknowledging the disappointment of her early exit from the 2024 US Open, Coco Gauff was adamant about not beating herself up about her loss to Emma Navarro, expressing confidence in her ability to bounce back strongly.
"Obviously because I'm wanting to reach a different level, it is disappointing, but I'm not going to beat myself up and be, like, this was so bad. Yeah, I expect better, but at the end of the day it happened, and I know I can turn it around," Gauff said in her post-match press conference.
Tommy Paul shared a similar sentiment after his loss to Jannik Sinner, emphasizing he wasn't going to experience any lasting psychological "damage" from the defeat.
"I mean, doesn't really feel like damage. I feel like it's the sport we play every week. We lose matches like this all the time, so it's not like this is kind of messed me up. Not going to have PTSD from this moment," Paul said.
Gauff will be back in action at the China Open, battling against the likes of defending champion Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, and Jessica Pegula for the WTA 1000 title.
Paul, meanwhile, will kick off the Asian swing at the ATP 500 Japan Open, joining compatriots Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, and defending champion Ben Shelton in Tokyo.
