Ugo Humbert's girlfriend Tessah makes her feelings known about his campaign after final loss to Alexander Zverev at Paris Masters

Ugo Humbert's girlfriend, Tessah Andrianjafitrimo has shared her thoughts on his performance at the 2024 Paris Masters after he fell to Alexander Zverev in the final on 3 November. This was Humber's first runner-up finish at an ATP Masters 1000 event.

Humbert was seeded 15th at the Paris Masters and began his campaign by defeating Brandon Nakashima 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in the first round. He went on to overcome qualifier Marcos Giron 6-3, 6-2 in the second round.

The World No.14 then continued his winning streak, causing a mighty stir by upsetting second seed Carlos Alcaraz 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 in the third round. He defeated Jordan Thompson 6-2, 7-6(4) in the quarterfinals and then secured a 6-7(6), 6-4, 6-3 victory over Karen Khachanov in the semifinals to advance to the final.

In the final, Humbert was defeated by third seed Alexander Zverev 6-2, 6-2.

After the final, Ugo Humbert's girlfriend, Tessah Andrianjafitrimo took to social media to share a photo of Humbert and Zverev on the court following the trophy presentation. In her post, she expressed pride in Humbert's performance at the ATP Masters 1000 hardcourt tournament in Paris.

“Ugo Humbert is an incredible player” - Alexander Zverev praises Frenchman after winning Paris Masters 2024

After winning the 2024 Paris Masters by defeating Ugo Humbert in the final on Sunday, Alexander Zverev said that he knew that he had to play his best to overcome the Frenchman, and called him an "incredible player."

Zverev said,

“I knew I had to play like this to win today. Ugo is an incredible player, but here in Paris, he plays even better than he usually does and I knew that. Once the crowd gets involved, it’s going to be difficult.”

Meanwhile, Humbert stated that he was "extremely happy" at playing in the final of the 2024 Paris Masters and having his family cheering him on. He said,

“I’m extremely happy to have played in this final. To have my family and team with me the whole week has been incredible. It’s for moments like this why I do this every day, why I train.”

Looking ahead, Ugo Humbert will next compete at the 2024 Moselle Open, where he will defend his title. He was the winner there in 2023 after defeating Alexander Shevchenko in the final. The World No.14 is seeded fifth this year and he will begin his campaign at the ATP 250 hardcourt tournament with a match against compatriot Hugo Gaston in the first round.
