US Open 2024: Where to watch, TV schedule, live streaming details, and more

It's time for the season's final Major as the US Open 2024 will begin on August 26 and conclude on September 8. Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff are the defending champions in singles.

Djokovic recently captured the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, the only thing missing from his collection of laurels. He hasn't competed since then. He'll arrive in New York to script more history. The Serb is gunning for his 25th Major title as well as his 100th career title.

Gauff's spectacular summer last year culminated in her maiden Grand Slam triumph in New York. Her build-up to the Major has been quite rocky this year. She lost to Diana Shnaider in the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open and bowed out in the second round of the Cincinnati Open.

It has been years since a successful title defense in singles at the US Open. Roger Federer and Serena Williams were the last players to do so in 2009 and 2014 respectively. Both Djokovic and Gauff will look to end this streak by winning back-to-back titles here.

The two will face stiff challenges from World No. 1 players Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek. The two have been the best players on their respective tours this year and will look to make a deep run in New York. Aryna Sabalenka, the runner-up last year, is rounding into form in time after an injury.

Carlos Alcaraz won the last two Majors and will look to complete a hat-trick of titles with a triumph at the US Open. However, he crashed out in the second round of the Cincinnati Open, so he has some work to do if he wants to add another Major title to his trophy cabinet.

Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Jessica Pegula, and Jasmine Paolini are among the other players to look out for. Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Danielle Collins, and Emma Navarro among others will look to fly the US flag high with a good run at their home Slam.

With this being their final shot at Major glory, the players will be keen to give their all. Most of the sport's leading names have assembled here for the same, and here's how one can watch them in action at the US Open:
