US Open 2024 women's singles winner odds: Aryna Sabalenka the top pick followed by Iga Swiatek; Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka among other favorites to win

With the US Open 2024 set to get underway on August 26, a few players have been deemed as the top choices to prevail by the oddsmakers. World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka, who recently won the Cincinnati Open, is the frontrunner to shine in the Big Apple.

Aside from her triumph in Cincinnati, Sabalenka also defended her Australian Open title earlier this year and was the runner-up here last year. She has been given +250 odds by BetMGM to hoist the winner's trophy. Top-ranked Swiatek is next in line.

Swiatek dominated the clay swing and only missed out on claiming the gold medal at the Paris Olympics. She swept all other big titles on the surface, including her third straight French Open crown. While she has underperformed at the hardcourt Majors in the past year, she won the US Open two years ago.

Swiatek's odds of securing a second title here stand at +350. Defending champion Coco Gauff has +600 odds of winning back-to-back titles. She crashed out in the second round of the Cincinnati Open and will need to step up her game if she wants to retain her title.

Elena Rybakina's reputation and results have made her the fourth choice to win the title with +700 odds. However, she has never advanced beyond the third round of the US Open thus far. Jessica Pegula and Naomi Osaka have +1100 odds of going all the way in New York.

Pegula recently won the Canadian Open and was the runner-up at the Cincinnati Open. While she's in good form at present, she's yet to break her quarterfinal jinx at the Majors. Osaka is a two-time champion in New York but has a disappointing 2-2 record on hardcourts this summer.

Following her breakthrough last year, Mirra Andreeva has continued to impress this season. She reached the semifinals of the French Open, bagged the silver medal in women's doubles at the Olympics, and won her maiden WTA title.

Andreeva bowed out in the second round of the US Open on her debut last year, and bookies have more faith in her chances this time. She has been given +1400 odds of winning the title.

Danielle Collins has made her farewell season the most memorable of her career. Another deep run at a Major would be the perfect way to wrap up her playing days. The American also has +1400 odds of claiming the title.

Zheng Qinwen, who stunned Swiatek en route to the gold medal at the Olympics, has +1600 odds of emerging victorious. She made it to the quarterfinals of the US Open last year, going down to Sabalenka in straight sets. Following her Olympic triumph, she'll be better prepared to handle the big guns this time.
