Aryna Sabalenka and Georgios Frangulis started dating earlier in 2024, shortly after the death of the Belarusian's ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov. Frangulis is a Brazilian businessman who founded the company Oakberry, which harvests acai berries.

Sabalenka recently spoke about how happy she was to have her boyfriend by her side during what was a really tough period for her.

“There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff. But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side," Sabalenka told People.

The Belarusian's US Open triumph makes her the first player to win both the hard-court Grand Slams since Angelique Kerber in 2016, having won the Australian Open this season without dropping a single set. She now has 46 out of 57 wins so far in the 2024 season, with three titles to her name.

Apart from her two Majors, Sabalenka also won the Cincinnati Open, beating Jessica Pegula in the final. She is currently on a 12-match winning streak.
