WATCH: Billie Jean King features in Super Bowl LVII commercial with Diana Flores for NFL Halftime spot
Billie Jean King and Diana Flores, the Mexican quarterback, starred in a Super Bowl commercial promoting youth and women’s football. The commercial was a powerful reminder of the importance of female representation and the incredible accomplishments in sports with these two trailblazers at the forefront.
Titled 'Run With It', the NFL's blockbuster Super Bowl LVII commercial showcases an intense game of flag football and celebrates the women who are pushing the sport forward.
Airing right after the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, the NFL tricked viewers into believing the spot was filmed live, with Fox Sports anchor Erin Andrews interviewing Diana Flores "live" on the sidelines.

"Life is too short" - Billie Jean King wants the Wimbledon Championships to lift the Russian-Belarus players' ban
Tennis legend Billie Jean King implored Wimbledon to abolish its prohibition on Russian and Belarusian players. She argued that the ban is a detriment to the progress of tennis and that it should be removed to ensure that all players have the opportunity to compete on the world stage.
"Just keep it the same way as the other ones are. Life is too short. I think they should get prize money. Just have them play and get their money," she said.
Players from both countries were prohibited from participating in the Grand Slam last year due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, resulting in the tournament being stripped of its ranking points.
The All England Club is currently deliberating on whether to impose the same restrictions again this year, but the 12-time Grand Slam champion has urged them to lift the ban.
